missing contacts

Paul

Hi.
I just uninstalled office proffesional 2007 and went back to my old version
of outlook.
I cant find all the contacts or e-mails that I downloaded with 2007 on my
old version of outlook.
Can anybody tell me how to find them? Did i uninstall them too?

What is your "old" version of Outlook?

I think I had office 2005 when I bought my laptop but thats gone now. All
thats left is outlook express and I'm not sure what version it is. I have
just installed a trial version of 2007 office home and student addition to
try to recover missing e-mails, attachments, and contacts. I may just
purchase the 2007 version if I cant find my installation disk. The main
concern is finding the lost personnal data.
I assumed that after the uninstall of the beta version of 2007 I would
revert back to my old Office program. Guessed wrong.

Any help would be appreciated.

There is no such SKU as Office 2005. Look for your old install disks and
then repost with the exact version of Outlook.

If you are saying you no longer have any version of outlook installed, then
you may be able to use outlook express import your old outlook messages. You
wont however be able to import your outlook contacts.
Nor will you be able to read your outlook data file in anything other than
Outlook.
