Missing email and attachments in Outlook

For a long time (years) I've always used the "Send To" "Email
Recipient" to copy files as an email attachment in Outlook. It has
performed flawlessly until yesterday.

Now this routine puts the file into the Outlook outbox, but it does
not show up in the outbox. When I hit "send" I see the file being
sent and a phone call to the recipient confirms that they got the
file, but it does not show up in "Sent Items".

What switch did I throw by mistake?

THanks,

I don't know the answer to your question or even what version of
Outlook you're using, but something that seems marginally related is
the option to "Save copies of messages in Sent items folder". I wonder
if unchecking that box will do what you see.

In OL2003, it's in Tools, Options, Preferences tab, Email Options,
second check box.
