Missing emails from inbox

After using Outlook Express, I received a message asking if I wanted to
Compact my messages to save space. I clicked Yes. The next day I noticed I
was missing all the emails from my Inbox from Feb 2007 through August 28,
2008. I never deleted anything but they are gone, and there doesn't appear to
be any option in Outlook Express to view or restore them. Can anybody help?

suggest you look for an Outlook Express newgroup to post your question. this
newsgroup answers basic questions about using MS Access relational database
software.

different program, Microsoft Access.
