Missing Excel 2003 File

Lee

Completed installing Excel 2003 as part of Office Professional 2003. One
glitch: "C\Program Files\Microsoft Office\OFFICE11\LIBRARY\MPDS.XLA' could
not be found. Check the spelling of the file name, and verify that the file
location is correct. If you are trying to open the file from your list of
most recently used files on the File menu, make sure that the file has not
been renamed, moved or deleted." Tried detect and repair, MS website for
office update, searched PC for file ( as well as install CD)with no success.
Has anyone had similar problems with excel 2003? If so, how did you resolve
it?

An "XLA" is an Excel Add-In. Open Excel, click the Tools menu, and then
select Add-Ins. Look for any add-ins that you don't recognize. If nothing
seems amiss, uncheck the items one at a time and test opening Excel until
you identify the cause of the message.
