"Missing" File Portions

Recently installed Microsoft Office 2003 on Windows XP Professional. This machine is part of a domain running Windows 2000 with MS Office 2000 Professional. Frequently cannot open Powerpoint presentations created in Office 2000, and get the following error message

PowerPoint can't open "Path\Filename" because part of the file is missing

Only appears to be a problem on my machine. Same file opens fine on machines loaded with Office 2000 Pro

Have you applied the critical fix available at
http://office.microsoft.com/home/default.aspx? Follow the links that say
"Check for Updates". I think that will correct your problem.
