Missing Fonts After Re-install

P

PJ

I had to re-format my PC hard drive and reinstall all software. I own both
Microsoft Office Professional 2003 and Student 2003 editions. I installed the
Professional and did a complete/total install & loaded all updates.

There are 10 fonts missing after the install, and I verified from the MS web
site font by font -- they should be there. I can't find any info on how to
get them, the only thing I've seen is a vague statement of "it depends on how
you installed the product". I really need them! Please advise.

Thanks!
PJ

Office does not install all the fonts by default. Insert your Office disks and
install the missing fonts.

Mary, thank you for your reply.... I have put both CDs in, and looked for
font files in every folder and subfolder on both CDs and I can't find them,
and neither can Windows XP through the install font process.... I also have
run the install/reinstall process more than once and still can't find them.

Could you please give me a more detailed direction on how to do this?

Hi PJ,
Insert your Office disk, Check Add or Remove Features, check Choose Advanced
Customizations of Applications, expand Office Shared features, Fonts.

Thank you. THIS did it -- although this seems rather weird to offer fonts
that are so buried... most people would have given up.

But, thanks for giving me the detailed info -- they have been successfully
installed.
