missing fonts--where did they go?

help!! i have done several pages of a school yearbook.
one page i go to print and it prints all boxes and
circles. other pages don't print bold. they look fine
on the screen.

another page i opened and all of a sudden a completed
page is all symbols. publisher says it doesn't recognize
the fonts and are not installed. this would include
times new roman and arial.

what should i do?
