Missing fonts

After updating to Office 2003 I noticed that there are only 11 fonts
available in Publisher. (There are many more in the other applications.)
I've tried "Installing New Fonts" in the control panel's Appearances and
Themes, and I've set the fonts setting to "Run from my Computer" on the
Office Shared Features, (in Add/Remove Programs). Restarted the computer and
did everything I can think of to get it going. Why is it not getting going?

publications will have all the fonts.
