missing hyphenation file

I recently reinstalled word 2000 from a new copy (legal, paid for) as I'd
lost my old one. Had some problems & had to shut down a couple of programs,
but installed successfully with no error messages. However, although I had
hyphenation before, I don't have it now. when I open a word file, I get the
message: word cannot find the hyphenation file mshyph.2.dll or mshy32.dll for
English (U.S). Please advise.

Not everything is installed using the default install procedure. I suggest
that you run Setup again and check that all the proofing tools are selected
and installed correctly.
