Hi, All,
If I'm going over old ground, please accept my apologies now!
I've just uploaded a site via ftp and a strange event occurred. One line of
html has disappeared. Basically, I've got 7 pages of .htm and a handful of
..jpg's. All the graphics are where they should be, except for one. There's
no box with a red cross to indicate a graphic should be there, nothing.
Right click the page, go to 'view source' the line that places the missing
graphic is not there. The image is a banner and common to all pages. The
banner is fine when viewed locally in a browser.
The line is <img border="0" src="banner.jpg" width="510" height="122"></td>
This line is saved correctly locally, but somehow deletes itself whilst
being ftp'd to a remote site. Check
http://www.btinternet.com/~robert.hewitt4/lha/lounge.htm there should be a
banner to the right of the lozenge shaped graphic top left
For ftp, I've tried using CuteFTP Pro, my usual method, and IE6, but neither
made any difference.
I've been using FrontPage in its various forms for about 5 years and have
never come across this before, anybody got any ideas?
Cheers,
Bob Hewitt
