I have a database that can not be opened. I get a missing MSysDb file
message. Do you know how this can be repaired. I can not compact, repair or
even import data from the database.

That's pretty drastic "database corruption" because MSysDB is a critical
system table. The knowledge base article at
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;295334 describes
JetComp, a separate compact and repair software tool (free for the
download). You may have to get there by first going to
http://support.microsoft.com, entering your Passport info, and then
searching the KB for JetComp.

If not, then a good Access data recovery service might be able to salvage
your data. Peter Miller of PKSolutions at http://www.pksolutions.com has a
good record of recovering data. I know he was away and not responding for a
while, but the site is still there and worth your taking a look.
