Missing Office Assistant

When I try to asses Office Assistant in word, I get the message "There are
no office assistant files present on the system. Please run setup in
maintenance mode and install at lease one charator". What is the
maintenance mode? The assistance is in Front Page. If the file is in Front
page, why
can't word find it? It did work in at one time in word but it dissappeared.

Go to Control Panel | Add/Remove Programs, select Microsoft Office, and
click Change. In the next screen, choose "Add or Remove Features." Navigate
to the Microsoft Shared Features and select Office Assistant. Choose a
character and set it to "Run from My Computer." Insert the Office CD when
prompted.

It worked and it didn't even ask me to insert my CD. Thanks.

You're CD may have been copied to your hard drive before installation.
