Missing office file

I have recently been hit by something from the net. Now I continue to get a message stating "instalation of office 2003 started gathering data, unable to find SKU001.CAB". Do you know why this is happening? Also my IE continues to go to a different homepage than the one I put it on. No matter how many times I change it, it always goes back to this "res://oacxf.dll/index.html#96676" Please help.

Get a copy of the latest Ad-Aware (or spy-bot) and a good anti-virus package
and use them; then try and fix any remaining problems. Trying to fix the
results of scum-ware while your system is (probably) still infected is a
waste of time.
