Missing or broken reference

I set up a new user and when opening the database and keying in his password
I get the error. "Your SOUTHCOAST DATABASE database or project contains a
missing or broken reference to the file 'crviewer9.dll' version 9.2." Then
it asks to to hit okay and the same error comes up with another file
'crviewer.dll' version 8.0, then Vsocx6.ocx' version 1.0 then
'FRxMdiVwCtl.dll 'version 11.0 then 'dzocx32.ocx' version 1.0.

After hitting okay, the database opens...but many of the command buttons on
the form don't function and some forms don't open at all.

Does anyone know what this is and how to fix it?

None of the files you mention are part of Access. When you set up the new
user, did you remember to copy those files to his hard drive and use
regsrv32.exe to register them?

When I looked at the files again I knew they were for our accounting
department which he doesn't need. I fixed the problem and he is set up
properly now...thanks.
