I am also missing the outcmd.dat file. I searched all files and folders,
including system and hidden files, and it was not on my hard disk. So I
searched my original installation disks from Microsoft and it was not there
either. My profile and email account is accurate and when I test the settings
it completes successfully. However, when I actually create an email message
in Outlook 2003 and try to send it I get the error message that "The
operation failed. An object could not be found." Is this message a result of
not having the outcmd.dat file? If so, how do I get it? Please help if you
can.
