Missing Outlook Public Folders

In swapping servers, they went and lost the Public Folders in Outlook.
Any suggestions what I should ask that they recover from backup (or in
what newsgroup to better ask this question)? I know that we're using
MS Exchange server on Windows 2003 SBS.
