Missing output in Access 2003 Report

I am a desktop support tech and not an Access expert. A database
administrator I support just submitted a ticket saying that when she prints a
report there are some missing data (parts of a table).

1. The problem shows up in Print Preview as well as on the printout.
2. This used to work fine.
3. Older versions of the database have the same problem.
4. At least one of the users she supports can print the same Report correctly.

The user who can print the Report correctly has Access 2003 version 11.6566.

The database admin is running Access 2003. Version is 11.8204 SP3. We
suspect a recent Microsoft Update may have caused this. I had to install the
Office SP3 Hotfix to fix the drop-down problem in Access caused by SP3 so we
think a more recent update may have caused this new problem.

The symptom as shown to me is a missing column in a table in the report.
Actually the header cell is there but the remaining cells of the column are
missing.

Thanks,
Don

Have her check her print options for the report. It may be set to a
dedicated printer that is not available to other users.

It sounds like you are not using the same workstations as you did when the
report worked. This can be an issue when the fonts selected by the creator
of the report are not present on other workstations. Try having the user
modify the report using more generic fonts.

The computer where it doesn't work is the DBA's computer. She is the one who
designed the database and she designed it on that computer, so the fonts have
been the same on her computer during the whole process and that same report
looked correct in print preview and when printed, in the past.

The computer where it works does not have Office 2003 SP3 installed so we
think that it is either Office 2003 SP3 or the hotfix I installed to fix a
problem SP3 caused with combo boxes. Is there any known issue with SP3 and/or
the hotfix for SP3 that would cause this printing behavior? Another computer
with SP3 and the hotfix shows the same problem. The computer without SP3 does
not. The machines have the same fonts as we deploy machines by cloning.

Thanks,
Don
