Missing pages???

R

Richard Gutery

In Navigation View in FP 2003, nothing shows up expect my home page. there
is a message indicating that I need to add shared borders. When I edit the
home page, there is no link bar in the doc. I played with this a bit, check
the images, -themes and _derived folders and all seemed to be okay.

To be honest (and being somewhat new to developing as opposed to teaching
this stuff), I got somewhat frustrated and simply restored from a backup -
thank the deities.

Anyone have any ideas?

Cheers.

It seems as if you somehow nuked your Navigation view or
filtered out your FrontPage components.

Did you move this site from place to place lately, or
update it by means other than FrontPage? If so, please
describe your steps.

Actually Jim, I changed absolutely nothing.

My local view is fine, the remote one is not.

Before I restored the site from backup, I saved the 'goofy' one and have
built a test server. I've synced witht the test server with exactly the same
results - i.e. the link bars are missing. I can type the url in and the
correct pages appear, however no link bars.

Recalculating hyperlinks is always worth a try.

Otherwise, try publishing from the "good" site to the "bad" one, using
this article as a guide:

No such option as 'View all...'. Your other option (suggestion) didn't work
at all.
Thanks tho...
