Missing Save Tab

I seem to have lost my save tab (tools-options brings up many other tabs but
no save tab) so I can't set an auto-recover interval. XP Home and Access
2003 SP1. Has anyone seen it and if so if they could tell me where it is I
would be grateful..

Access has never had an auto-recovery feature or a "save" tab under
Tools>Options.
Excel does. Maybe you are confusing the 2?

(In general), when you work with data in Access you are working with the
data in the file, not a "document" copy in memory (like Excel). Changes to
data are automatically saved to the file real-time.

No you haven't; it wasn't there to begin with.

An Access database is a container for multiple objects, not a
document; so there is no "save" or "save as" provided. If you wish to
back up a .mdb file, you must do so external to Access.

Oh well. Since it was mentioned in the Help section of/via Access I assumed
it was relevant to all of Office rather than everything bar Access. Thanks
for the help..
