Missing sent items

MS Outlook 2002 - SP2

Hi, nothing has been saved to my sent items folder since the middle of
last week.

Auto Archiving is not, and has never been, switched on

According to windows update my machine is up to date and accoringing
to Product Updates, Office XP is also up to date.

Just uin case, my virus defs are up to date and I' scanned recently.

Any idea what else I can try?

Hi Darren,

Just as a check, from the Tools menu, click Options and click Email Options
on the Preferences tab. Is the setting for "Save copies of messages in Sent
Items folder" checked? This is the first place I would look, then create a
new test message and send it. If the problem persists, from the Tools menu,
click Rules Wizard, and insure that there is not some type of rule enabled
that clears or redirects Sent Items.

Another area to check would be to select the Sent Items folder, and from the
View menu, click Current View and click Customize Current View, and insure
that no filters or other view restrictions have been placed on Sent Items
which might be filtering the data in this folder.
