Missing space on my network drive

Hello
I have a network drive installed on a server somewhere (at work). If I
right click on it and select "properties" I can see that I've been
alloacted 100Gb space but only have about 90Mb free. I can't see any
free space on the pie-chart.
If I open this drive, and select all the items in it and look at their
properties, I only have 104Mb of data on the drive.
My question is: What the hell has happened to the remaining 99.9Gb of
space I should have on that drive?
I've also cut and pasted all the drive content to a tempory folder on
my internal hard disk. The disk properties now show 200mb free, but
99Gb of space used (dispite the drive being empty).
I've made sure that hidden files are visible.
What is going on?
