missing text

Dave

using outlook 2002. i have a user who received an html formatted message
from an outside source. the message is a reply to one he had sent earlier.
the first lines of the message are displayed in the auto preview in his
inbox and make sense that it is the reply he wanted, but when opening the
message to read it the part the sender added is missing. it is also not
visible in the preview pane. in looking at the message source i also don't
see the text that is showing in the auto preview. i did a search at
support.microsoft.com but don't see anything that seems to apply... Is
there a fix for this? or a workaround to see the rest of the message??

I also have the same problem. Most users are receiving e-
mails fine, but a few users have had problems with their
email. Altohugh im not sure its HTML they have a problem
with. It's all text but as i said before its not all
users and it does not happen all the time. So far it has
only happened twice. Today it happened to a couple of
users so looked on the support site and couldnt find
anything. In the end the only option was the restart the
mail server and hope for the best. This being time
consuming and not a permanant fix is not what i want to
be doing frequently. After spending most of the day
trying to find a solution to the problem this is the only
thing that i could find.

Q241713 : On the Microsoft "Support" Site

And as none of my users have any "Global Village
Communications Focal Point Extention's" on their systems
it is totally useless. Maybe it will be of use to you.

If you have any ideas as to why this may be happening I
would be a happy man.
