I have one user that somehow lost the capability of selecting xls as file
type when import/export/link file from access 97.
I found the kb article posted (by Gunny) on the other thread, and following
through the steps. The msexcl40.dll is in the right location, and has been
reinstalled/re-registerred. The machine has been rebooted, but the problem is
still there.
I'd appreciated any help!
The OS is window 2000, and office 97.
