Field differences: import contacts from Access vs. export from Out

As part of some basic learning, I've been fooling around with Access for my
contact info. One source is Outlook Contacts. I've done an import of
Outlook Contacts from within Access and I get one set of fields (44 of them).
If I export Contacts from Outlook to Access I get a different set of fields
(92 of them).

Most are unused so they won't be an issue, but why am I getting two
different sets of fields? It's obvious that the more comprehensive set comes
from Outlook so that one seems right. Then why is an import from within
Access specifying Outlook() as the file type create such a significantly
smaller set of fields?
