Missing zero's

I'm trying to format the cell to accept a 0302 number. I
can enter it into each cell manually with the cell set to
text. But when I try to find 302 and replace with 0302 it
won't change it to 0302. All cells are set to text. and
302 is currently showing in the cells. Why won't it let
me find them and replace them with the correct number?

Nola,

If you want "four" digits, go

Format | Cells | Number | Custom "0000" without the quotation marks.

The "number" will be a number and not text.
