Modifed first attribute, the second attribute followed

i have 5fields that is my attributes of generating a Gantt Chart.

1. Tasks
2. PlanStartDate
3. PlanFinishDate
4. ActualStartDate
5. ActualFinishDate

i just want to ask, how come i modify the PlanStartDate, th
ActualStartDate goes along being modified as well? i tried vice-vers
too but it is still the same. this shows that two of them are the same
why is it so?

Hi

When you modify Actual Start, Start will always follow; when reality is
known there is no use having a plan saying otherwise. If you want to keep
the original value of Start you will have to baseline the plan (Tools,
Tracking, Save Baseline)

Once a task has an actual start (i.e. once it has really started) modifying
start HAS to modify Actual start as well - reallity and plan have to
coincide.

Start can only react on its own whan the task hasn't started yet, i.e. when
Actual Start is NA.
