Modify Group Templats

Hi.

I would like to show the "modified date attribute" in a group display in
Outlook when
looking into the addressbook. Please give me some advice how and if that is
possible.

The address book dialog is not customizable.

If you were thinking of something else, fill in a few more details for us.

OK. When I look in the GAL and clicking on a distributionlist it will show
me the members of the list, owner and some more.
I would like to customise that so I am able to see when the list is
modified. I know the date is there in AD and that it is possible
to customise the groups template in Exchange, and the question is how. I
have been able to modify other templates but
this attribute seems to be hard to add. Perhaps it is impossible, but it
would be a good information to see the age of the distributionlist.
An old distributionlist is not that trustable as a newly modified
distributionlist

Please help me.

You might have to use trial and error on the list of attributes available for inclusion in the DL template.

The attribute is there but there is no way to match it with a datatype that
is able to show in the template.

What is the name that the attribute you're interested in shows in the template editor?

The attribute in the template editor in Exchange is When-Changed which is
the time and date on Active Directory objects when the object changed.
