Modifying a web page

In the "publish to dialog" box there is no "Options"
button When I put in the web site as the dexstination,
it says that this site4 is already open . When I click
OK it closes and restarts the loop.

How do I change a page on the home page and upload it?

Don't have a clue as to what you are trying to tell us, or what web is open
where.
But, I'll take a wild guess.

You have your live online web open, working on it and trying to publish to
itself? You can't, because it's already open and in use. You don't publish
anything to itself. You save the page.

If you have a local web open via http method, same thing.

If that doesn't answer the question, please be more specific.

Right. First you specify the destination in the Publish
Destination dialog box. Then, the Publish Web window (or,
in FP2003, the Remote Web Site window) appears, and that's
where you can find the Options button.

I suspect you're specifying the Web you opened as the
destination Web. You have to publish from one Web (i.e.
the one on your computer) to a different Web (i.e. the one
at your hosting service).

Sounds like you're working on your site "live".
Open the site on your local machine

if you open and edit the live site through Frontpage, you're already saving the
pages to the server therefore no publishing is needed If you're editin your
pages on your local computer, of course you need to publish the changed pages.
