Modifying existing template in Powerpoint 2007

Corinne

Hi,

I am sure this is a really simple question but I just can't figure out how
to modify an existing (corporate) template. I understand how slide masters
work and themes etc but modifying the master does not affect the the
pre-existing template. The template has a logo and some shading which I just
cant figure out how to access!

From memory I had thought in PowerPoint 2000 I could modify templates
somewhere?

Confused and frustrated!
Any advice appreciated.

Thanks,
Corinne.

Hi Mary,

Thanks for your help though Help was the first place I looked (quite
extensively I thought) and I couldn't find an answer.
Upon searching again I still cannot find anything that explains how to
modify an existing tempate (not the slide master or theme). There are
instructions to create a template and apply a template but not modify
existing.

Regards,
Corinne.

Thanks again Mary - touble is that is where I started! I nominated the
PowerPoint discussion group for my question and the 'powers that be' moved
the post to this templates discussion group.
I'll try again.
Thanks,
Corinne.

Hang on - yes it is. Oh I knew it was me being silly somehow!! Trying to make
things way more complicated than they actually were.
Thanks heaps.
