Modifying many Email address

R

Rene

Hi,
Because of corporate policy, we need to change the suffix
of our email address (after the @). Is there an way to
make a search/replace like in the SQL DB.
We have about 1000 changes to make and we figure that it
will be faster to create a SQL command instead of chaging
them manually.
Any suggestions.
Tks.

You might try the following steps:

1. Open the Enterprise Resource Pool and check out all of the resources
2. Temporarily insert the Email Address field to the right of the Resource
Name column
3. Click Edit - Replace
4. In the Find What field, enter the old suffix
5. In the Replace with field, enter the new suffix
6. In the Look in field pick list, select the Email Address field
7. Click the Replace All button

Before saving the changes to the Enterprise Resource Pool, make sure that
every address is correct. Hope this helps.
