Modifying Stencil Defaults

E

Elaine

I'm trying to modify the default shapes within the stencil sets and can't
figure out how to do it. I'd like to globally modify the shading, fill, line
weight and font to be specific so that when I choose the shape from the
stencil, it has the look and feel I've chosen. Does anyone know how to
accomplish this? It's really frustrating to have to select the shapes and
modify them one-off. Thanks in advance for your help.

The best way is to create your own stencil(s)
Copy the masters that you like on to them
Then edit the masters on your stencil
Ensure that the Master property "Match Master By Name" is checked
If you don't want to use an installer, then add the path to your stencil(s)
in the Options / Advanced / File Paths
Similaryly, you can create your own templates that already have your
corporate border & logo, etc, and have your stencils docked.
