Modifying the default confirmation page

How can I modify the default confirmation page?
Specefically I am running into the problem of I have a
form, I hit submit, but my scroll text boxes end up at the
bottom of the confirmation page instead of the order it is
in on the form....also, it bolds / makes the title bigger
for the scroll line test boxes. Any ideas? Thanks!

1. Open a new blank page.
2. For each field on your form:
a. Choose Web Component from the Insert menu.
b. Select Advanced in the Component Type box at the
left.
c. Select Confirmation Field in the Choose A Control
box at the right.
d. Click Finish.
e. When you get the prompt, Name Of Form Field To
Confirm, enter the name of your form field.
f. Click OK.
3. Format the page and arrange the Confirmation Field
components any way you want.
4. Save the file as an .htm page.
5. Open the page that contains your HTML form.
6. Right-click the form and choose Form Properties from
the shortcut menu.
7. Click the Options button.
8. If you're saving to a file or mail, click the
Confirmation Page tab.
9. If you're saving to a database, make sure the Database
Results tab is selected.
10. In either case, locate the box titled URL Of
Confirmation Page (Optional) and specify the page you
saved in step 4.

I tried that before and for some reason it wasn't
workin...but it is definately working now!

another question though.

I want to make the confirmation field output only 60
characters wide, and then wrap around to the next line.
Currently I have tried the following to no avail:

1) Create a scroll line text box...limiting its width to
be 60 characters. What happens on the confirmation page
with this is it takes line 1 and line 2 and combines them
into one big long line.

Create a table with a width of 60 characters. when I try
this, the output (even though exceeds 60 characters)
expands the table to fit the characters.

Can you shed some light on this? Thanks!

On your form page try adding the attribute to the textarea form tag wrap="hard"
See http://www.eskimo.com/~bloo/indexdot/html/tagpages/t/textarea.htm

This worked when I tried it on a test scroll box, but
didn't work when I put it in the rest...and won't work
anymore for me for some reason. Here is my code for a
scroll box:

<textarea rows="2" name="test" cols="60" wrap="hard">
</textarea>

I have also tried it with validating the maximum fields
entered to no availe.

What am I doing wrong?

Nothing wrong w/ your code
As pointed out in the link, browsers don't handle it the same and the FP forms handler may not either

Convert the fields to 1 line inputs

Good evening,

Using FP2002 (or any other version) you would create an
html page to appear any way you want it.

What I do is save the form page that you created as
something like form-thank-you.htm.

Then on the thank you page I remove the form (go to html
view and delete <form> and </form>.

Then return to normal view and click on every input box
to copy the name (do this one at a time) and then go
to "insert" "web component" "confirmation field". paste
the name of the field you copied from the input box and
then delete the input box. Do that for every box and
then save the page.

Go to your form and click on "form properties" and
designate your thank you page as your "confirmation page"
on the confirmation tab.

The confirmation page will appear exactly as your form.

Hope this helps,
Raven
