Modifying the View Resource Availability view

Is it possible to modify the "view resource availability" view, and if
so, how? I want to add a calculated column called Remaining Work (Wrok
- Actual Work) so my resource forecasting is more accurate.

My plan B is to create a custom Portfolio Analyzer view instead. Is
this a better alternative?

It is not possible to create additional views for the View Resource
Availability page. It sounds like a custom Portfolio Analyzer view might be
what you would want. Hope this helps.
