Modifying website pages

Alan

I would like to tidy up my website and place several of my pages into a new
page with the heading "Projects" How do I go about this please? I know
how to create a new page but how do I get my existing pages into the new
"Projects" page?

A detailed explanation would be most appreciated, as I'm in a learning curve
and semi-confused most of the time.

Do you mean you want to link to the old pages
from your projects page??
If so, with your projects page open, click on a spot
on the page and then click the Insert hyperlink Icon.
Then browse to the page you want to link to, select
it and click OK

I'm not to sure, I'd like to create a new page and place 4 or 5 of my
existing pages into the new page which I'll call "Projects" They will
appear as separate subject headings in this new page. I would then like to
delete the old page hyperlinks as they appeared in the website originally,
and just make the pages available in the new "Projects" page only. I'm
probably making this sound more difficult than it is.

OK, lets try something simple first and see if is what you're trying to do.

Create a new blank page. Click Table on the toolbar and then
Table > Insert and create a 1 row 1 column table and set it
to 100 percent width.
You will see a wide short box appear.
Then open one of the old pages and click Edit > Select all
then click Edit again and click Copy.
Go back to the new page, right click inside the new table
and click paste. ( the table will expand to accept the content )

See if that's what you want. If so drop down in the page and make
another new table and repeat the process.

You could also create a 1 column 4 or 5 row table the first time,
but with the separate tables you can delete one at any time and not
mess up the others.

Your suggestion was appreciated but it wasn't quite how I invisaged things,
thank you anyway. I did try myself by opening a new page and called it
"Projects" then went to "Insert" - "Hyperlink" and inserted individual
hyperlinks for the 5 webpages I wanted in the "Projects" page. I then
added a hyperlink to the projects page on all other pages and also began
removing the original hyperlinks on each page to the 5 transfered pages. I
didn't have time to complete this so haven't tested anything yet and I only
mention what I've done in the hope you may spot any mistakes I may be making
or perhaps can add a tip to improve on my layout.
