Monthly format

Hi,

My report information is grouped by month. I would like to have the months
listed like this "January, February, March, April........December".

If I use Ascending option, the list will stat form A to Z Or

If I use Descending option, the list will star form Z to A.

Thanks

Chi

You need to group on the month number, not the month name.

Is the month name in a Text field in your table? It should
be a Date field. A date field can be grouped by month just
by setting the interval to month and a date field can
display the month name simply by using a text box's Format
property of mmmm

Thank you Marshall Barton,
Your information is very useful! I followed your ideas and the month names
are displayed in my report!!! However, the month "February" goes first
instead of January.

Ex: February, January, March..... I would like the month name are list
correctly like January, February, March, April, May.....

Thanks

Assuming everything else is squared away, that will happen
if the February entry is in an earlier year than the January
entry.

Or maybe you still have some Text vs Date confusion?
