I have set up a corp template being used to transition ppts from 03 to
07. Finally seemed to have worked out most of the charting and bullet
issues.
I notice when I display the selection pane that titles are not always
listed as titles, often listed as "rectangle", similarly charts are
often listed as "object", bulleted text on a word slide is listed as
rectangle.
Is this something to correct?
Likewise on the layout in master I have "arranged" the various
placeholders on each layout to follow the convention of 1 - title
2- subtitle 3- custom text placeholder for axis titles 4 chart
placeholder etc. etc. with the footer placeholder always being at the
bottom. Again viewing the selection pane in editor mode this order is
often jumbled up, so that the chart placeholder is in front of the axis
title placeholder which causes extra steps to grab and format.
Is this just something to live with?
It seems to me that you should be able to "number" the items and have
them stay in that order.
