more import defaults

Again, importing data via a macro.

Is there a way to ALWAYS use the saved import specs rather than make the
user select them?

Is there a way to specify the name of the file that will ALWAYS be used to
save the new table?

Seems I'd done this a long time ago via macros - but the macro options
seemed to have changed since then.

Thanks for the help...

in Access 97 and 2000, those arguments can be set in the
macro design view window, in the Action Arguments section
in the bottom half of the window.

Thanks Tina.

It's odd, because I recall that being how it worked. I don't see that,
though, in my version - and I'm using 2000!

Are you using RunCommand/Import as the macro function? Or some other
method?

Thanks again...

Renee,

The TransferText macro action is likely more applicable.
