Most Valuable Pirate (MVP)

I have noticed that some people are using the titles MVP after their
names. Can I use these titles indicating that I am the Most Valuable
Pirate of Microsoft's software?
Well, you could use that title. You could also call yourself Miss
Perspicacia Tick, BSc, MA, PhD, PARP and POOTLE. In either case it
would be misrepresentation.

MVP is an actual real award and not an assumed title:

I have noticed that some people are using the titles MVP after their
names. Can I use these titles indicating that I am the Most Valuable
Pirate of Microsoft's software?

If you want to brag in a public newsgroup that you are illegally
pirating software, that is your choice.

Those of us who post with the MVP tag do so because we are here to
help others and are proud of the award that Microsoft has given us.

Realizing this might be Troll Food,
