I have a map of the world and I would like to have a arrow show a trip from
Florida to Asia. I can get the motion path to show the trip. But the tale
does not stay on Florida the whole path moves to a totally different side of
the screen.

Hi Vilma,

if you use motion paths, the whole object will be moved. To make the arrow
"grow", you'll need to combine animations, e.g. a Wipe effect and a motion
path. But this will need a lot of trial and error. Easiest would be to make
the line grow with a wipe effect, but that will not show the arrowhead from
the beginning.

And if your path changes direction by more than 90 degrees, combine more
than 1 short path to add up smoothly.
