mourse cursor color

If I change my word document background color to blue, my mouse cursor
color stays black. Is there anyway to change my mouse cursor color to a
lighter color in word only ?

The mouse cursor is a Windows function. Check what Control Panel > Mouse
offers (which will depend on the mouse software).

You might try the "inverse" cursors -- the cursor changes to the opposite of
the underlying color. So on a blue background, the cursor would be orange.
On a white background, it's black. I really like it -- easy to see but not
intrusive.
