Mouse slows down in PowerPoint

Has anyone noticed their mouse slowing down in PowerPoint
2003? Mine noticably slows as I move it across the screen
when in slide mode. I have installed new InteliPoint
drivers for wireless mouse but this has not resolved the
problem

I have a wireless mouse too, and it's "mighty" fast. What else is going on
on the slide? If the processor is working really hard, it may not give
priority to the mouse. On the other hand, maybe there isn't enough cheese
on the slide. <G>

This might be two mouse drivers running simultaniously or
a device conflict.

I have encountered this many times, not on PPt 2003 but in
other versions, when a wireless mouse is attatched.

Maybe worth checking the device manager in the control
panel for this. If this is the problem you can delete the
drivers and reinstall the prefered one.
