Hi,

I have an admin install of Office XP on a server and the clients have always
referred to this as \\servername\share, however the server died and we have
had to replace but with a different name because it was an Exchange server
as well. How do i get the clients to look at a new admin install point and
not the old one?

Any advice is great,

Thanks,

Stuart.

You really have a major problem, do you have a backup of
your old server? If you do, you still have a lot's of
work cut out for you. You can give each client a new
profile which will point them to the new server name.
This will permit them to join that domain. Be careful
and I would highly recommend you get someone who really
knows how to build, implement, and configure network
servers.

One bad thing, never, never, make you mail server serve
as a application, logon and mail server all in one.
