Move EPM deployment

S

Sumit

Dear All,

In order to reduce the no of ports, my co is planinng to move EPM 2003 deployment from this URL http://abc:11000/projectserver to http://abc/epm/projectserver (Intranet).

Can anyone please tell me:
1. If this is possible and
2. The process to migrate the deployment along with all subwebs.

I did go through the disaster recovery doc but that generally talks about migrating the database or migrating a particular site.

Please help me on this.
Regards,
sumit.

Sumit:

The principles are the same for renaming a machine, changing the website
location or physically moving the installation. The information you need to
make these changes is contained in the Disaster Recovery Guide. You need to
work out what applies and what doesn't apply to your situation. Certainly,
nobody here can give you specific instructions without first learning your
system.
