move messages once reply sent

Hello

I would like to set up rules or a macro so that once I send a reply to a
e-mai
the original e-mail is moved into a folder. I have looked and can't seem t
find a solution anywhere. The idea is that once I reply to a message it i
moved into a completed folder which will free up my inbox. Just to be clear
need to move the original message I am replying to, not the message I a
sending

I hope someone can help me.

Do some lateral thinking. Move the message to the required folder BEFORE
it's read, then use the Unread Messages search folder to display your Unread
messages. Then when you reply, the message will already be in the folder you
want it to be..

This is not possible with any native outlook feature. There is at least one
add-in, Auto-Mate, that can do move messages later though.

Or use Gordon's suggestion of rules and an unread search folder - and if you
want, you can configure Outlook to store sent messages in the folder with
the original when not in the Inbox.

Thanks for that. I am using automate and it is working really well. Th
filters option did not really suit me as I wanted to be able to view bot
groups(replied and unreplied) of messages at different times. I also wante
th
ability to move messages to different folders before I replied to them.
Automate lets me do this and more, thanks heaps for recommending it
