Hi John,

There is not such an option in Outlook 2007 to backup/export email account settings.

The Outlook profile settings are saved in the following registry.
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Windows Messaging Subsystem\Profiles]

Follow the steps below to move the registry key to see if it works.

1. On PC1, click Start > Run > type regedit, click OK.
2. Locate the following registry key:
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Windows Messaging Subsystem\Profiles]

3. Right click it and choose Export to export it as OutlookProfiles.reg.
4. Move the *.reg file to PC2.
5. On PC2, backup the registry key [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Windows Messaging Subsystem
\Profiles]
6. And then, double click the *.reg file to import it. Thus, all the Outlook profiles settings on PC1 are moved to PC2.

Note: In this situation, the original outlook profile settings in PC2 are replaced. If you only want to move account settings on one of the
Outlook profiles, please save the sub-key with the outlook profile name under the registry [...\Profiles]. And only move the sub-key to PC2.

If anything is unclear or if you have any other concerns, please don't hesitate to contact me.

Regards,

Emily Lin
