Is there a way to move a folder from Outlook2003 to My
Documents (XP)? I'd like to archive the emails with the
other documents.

You can copy items from within an Outlook folder as individual files in your
file system folders....don't know of any way to do this "in batch". Search
www.slipstick.com for 'housekeeping' to see if anything there might work.

Assuming you are not using Exchange--you have an "outlook.pst" file (could
have another name, but will have a ".pst" extension). You can simply move
this file into your "my documents" folder. Next time you start Outlook, it
will not find your pst and give you an error---just point it to the .pst
file in your My Documents folder. I always run my .pst file in that folder
just so I can find it. There is no way to split up the Outlook file into
email, contacts, etc. It is all in one big file.

Folders in Outlook are not file system objects. You can drag individual
messages from a mail folder into a file system folder, though.
Alternatively, you can create a PST in the My Documents folder and copy a
mail folder to that file.
