move textbox

When I try to resize or move my text box it jumps about 1/8" at a time. How
can I turn that function off so I can get it to resize or move just a tiny
bit? On my old apple this was called suot-grid and you could turn it off. I'm
hoping windows has that option too!

Hello-

Display the Drawing Toolbar, then click Draw>Grid to remove the Snap Objects
To Grid feature or resize the Grid to your own preferred incrementation.

Also, even if you leave the Snap feature on you can still use Crtl+ArrowKeys
to move an object in smaller increments than do the arrows alone (approx.
1/10th).
