Movie credit scrolling

I'm unable to put together the right transition or animation to provide
a slow, continuous scroll up of muliple pages of credits. Got a
solution?

PPT 2002 and 2003 have a "credits" animation. Does it not do what you want?
(You'll have to create multiple textboxes if the credits are that long,
though.)

if you want to make credits which contains more than one slide, go to Slide
Show > Slide Transition. Under Advance Slide section, uncheck On mouse click
and check Automatically after. Apply it to all the slides with credits.

I undersand the steps for applying the transition to multiple slides,
but the PUSH UP transition is so fast, even when SLOW is selected, that
it's almost unreadable. Got an idea for a slower transition to use or
a way to slow down PUSH UP?

If I use the "credits" animation with mutiple text boxes, each firing
after the previous, the first scrolls off the screen at the top before
the second one starts at the bottom. This leaves the screen blank
briefly. I'm looking for a continuous appearance. Gotta suggestion?

Yes. Set the start animation for each textbox to "with previous," then
right-click one on the animation timeline and choose "show advanced
timeline." Drag the later textboxes so they overlap with the earlier ones.
It will take some tweaking to get the timing right, but it can look
continuous.
