Moving a picture

If I use the down arrow to move a picture, the picture moves up. Plus, it
will not move in small increments. Whenever a picture is moved with the mouse
to a location, it snaps to somewhere else.

What version of Word are you using? If Word 2007, have you applied all
updates and service packs?

The behavior you're seeing is something I experienced for a long time in
Word 2007. At some point in the past year or so, however, it spontaneously
went away, and I attributed the "fix" to my having applied an update.
