How can I move discontinuous selection of pages from one Word document to another?

You can't because there are no 'pages' to select :) Select the *text* that
occupies those 'pages' then either cut or copy it & paste into the other
document.

As Bob says, you have to move the "text", a Word document does not contain
"pages" (they are "invented" by Word for display and printing, but they're
not stored in the file).

To do Discontiguous selections, hold down the Command key while dragging to
make the selections.

It would be a lot "safer" to COPY rather than Move, and to do one selection
at a time :)
